Key Themes in 2015
2015 was a foundational year of policy implementation and domestic development for Hon. E.P. Chet Greene following the early period of governance after the 2014 general elections. His work centered on strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s internal economic framework through trade oversight, support for small businesses, and revitalization of cultural and sports sectors.
As Minister of Trade, Commerce & Industry, Sports, Culture & Community Services, he focused on improving regulatory structures, encouraging entrepreneurship, and enhancing national cultural identity through festivals and creative industries. He also maintained strong leadership as Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party, while actively representing the people of St. Paul.
International engagement during this period remained measured, with participation in regional discussions through CARICOM, particularly in areas of trade and economic cooperation.
